Chas: I love the Pacer....I wanted one when I was about 20.

My friend used to drive a Moskvitch........Russian I think............now that was an evil thing!

Worst thing I ever drove........1969 Saab, with column shift. And the fuel gauge just flicked from full to empty all the time, so you never knew for sure whether you had any gas in the damn thing.

Best car I ever owned......1974 Cadillac Eldorado......500 cubic inches (8.2 litre) V8 Front wheel drive. Only did 8 mpg, but it was white with white leather and drove like a Rolls Royce. Stunning vehicle.

Sound like the original "Pimpmobile" ....
drove like a Rolls Royce.

More like the USS Enterprise IMHO!
Wombat has a mental picture of BoXXI wearing a "Saturday Night Fever" white ensemble ....

Wombat: Nah.... I had a black T-Shirt that said "Heaven's in the back seat of my Cadillac" on the front, and the Caddy emblem on the back. It was a hit song in the seventies by an English band called Hot Chocolate. Never went for the SNF look, not my style. But I remember that girls used to try and get in the car when I stopped at the lights......never a bad thing....hehehe

Did some one say "HUMMER"

why is it everyone slams Ford? Maybe my 1979 Ford Station Wagon is a exception. Never rebuilt the inline 6 engine and it is still running with all original parts at 225,000 miles.

Or maybe back in the 70's Ford actually gave a crap how they made cars?

I here that BMW's iDrive is a pain in the neck.

Talk about to much technology in a car. If you buy the car and then spend just as much on maintenance to keep it running then maybe its not as good as you thought...

I still like the BMW 745i though... just without all the tech crap.

my vote for the uglyest would heve to be the V.W. thing ......a seriously hideus lookin car ...

The Aztec is uglier than the Thing and doesn't have as neat of a name

The ugliest thing on the market right now has got to be that Element thing from Honda. OMG! Second place goes to the PT Cruiser.

As for the worst car ever built, my vote goes to the russian Lada. I don't think it was ever sold in the US (cause of embargo) but it was somewhat popular in Canada as a low budget car (I think you could buy one for 4000$ or something). Anyway, the car was sold with a toolbox included (no joke), just to give you an idea.

(to be fair, the above is an older model, they have more recent models that don't look a bad:)

I don't mind the cruiser's looks. I'd never buy one, but I don't find them particularly ugly

You want ugly? F-150 or any chevy Truck.

paxx.....BMWs and Aston Martins were/are sold with elaborate tool kits.....just means the Company is doing MORE, not less for their customer...

I don't know about getting a tool kit with your car.
heh most should come with a tow truck instead of a tool kit .....
besides we all know that any car your inlaws give ya is the worst .. cause no matter how much u pay it back, itl never get paid off.........

It used to be common to find a tool kit with your car (along with extra fuses, etc.)  Of course, cars used to also come with a full size spare.

Kona, we are talking about ugly cars, not ugly trucks
