Convert a Window Blinds skin to StyleXP?

Convert a Window Blinds skin to StyleXP?

Hey, I was just wondering if it was possible to convert a skin for Window blinds to a skin for StyleXP. Windowblinds gives me alot of problems with my comp, so i cant use it anymore. If it is possible, can someone convert this skin: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=media+monks&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=1 To a skin for stylexp for me? or atleast tell me how to? Thanks in advance.

just an update, I'm still working on a Logo I have to finish by tonight (for various reason it seems everything ends up being at the last moment as far as changes go but I am going to work on seeing what more I can find out about possible driver conflits. I do not sleep all that much and it will give me something to keep me busy for a while, my brain doesn't seem to kick in until after being awake for 14 - 16 hours )

oh, let me know when you've done an un-install of Windowblinds, cleaned the registry, optimized it then rebooted and re-installed WindowBlinds.

Norton does not work as well as the one that comes with System Mechanic.

This is my learned opinion about Norton and some will argue against it but then again I work with many utilities and applications testing them for stability in cross platform networking enviroments on a professional level so I tend to pick out what I find works best in most instances and stick with it as does everyone else.

anyway...

If you run Nortons Registry Utilities and then run System Mechanics registry cleaner and optimizer afterward I bet you will find a number of things still not quiet right with your registry that Norton missed or ignored with trying to be safe about it's work...

NoFlow...

A very talented .msstyle skinner attempted to port this skin after I gave him permission. He ported it, but decided to scrap it because working within the limitations of .msstyles made the skin lose too much of what made it special.

No titlebar text background...
No animation...
No text mouseovers for titlebar buttons..
Etc...
Etc...

I'm glad you like the skin enough to want to try, but it's just not worth the effort.

I've always heard that ATI's worked better with pentium systems and Nvidia Cards ran better with AMD's. I'm by no means an expert but I can say from my own experience that Norton Utilities SUCK. (except for their antivirus) Actually I've found that my systemworks disks do make GREAT coasters. My money is on Norton being the problem.

Hey davad70, thanks for replying yourself, being as I just started posting here, I wasnt sure if you were still an active member or not, so I didnt bother trying to contact you personaly. Hopefully I will no longer need it converted anyway, LP seems to be trying very hard to narrow down my problem, and I appreciate it. I have uninstaled WB, cleaned my reg., then re-installed WB like LP suggested, and things seem to be working fine for now, hopefully they will stay that way. Thanks to all who helped, I appreciate it!

hey, also, davad70, if you ever feel like redoing the media monks skin, it lets say..... a dark blue? *wink wink* I am sure people would love it as much as I and tons of others loved the previous one.
