Coffee anyone?

Coffee anyone?

Coffee is the staple diet of kings and skinners and those who appreciate skinning.

I have long been a "Kenco" man and i particularly like their instant dark roast but i need a change to my "fix" and what better place could i chose to ask for recommendations than my fellow Wincustomize friends.

So come on guys........I have got to hit Tesco's tommorrow morning and i need your help

mmmmmmm....coffee.....where to start...

Well, my "special occasion" coffee is Jamaican Blue Mountain (but it is *really* expensive)

My "every day" coffee is called Eight O'clock coffee, which is a very old A&P brand that is now sold in many Spartan stores (won't mean much to people who aren't around Spartan stores).  It comes in whole bean form (though I think they have a ground version now) and is nice and smooth.

For my first pot of the day (unless it is a special occasion, which would then be JBM) I drink Starbuck's Breakfast blend.  I don't like coffee from the Starbuck's store because it always tastes like they boiled it or something.  But, I do like brewing it myself.

Some of the Hawaiin Kona blends are nice (though I do not like them on their own).  I also like some of the french roast coffees- even maxwell house has a nice one.  I've yet to find a decaf that doesn't have a bitter undertone to it, but most of the half-caf (50/50) are pretty good. (My doctor keeps telling me to switch to decaf, but I ignore her....remind me of that when I'm laying in the hospital after my first heart attack )

I also recommend getting a good coffee maker.  Different coffee makers will really change the taste of coffee (as well as the water you use).  I have a Bunn coffee maker.  They make great coffee, and they are *fast*.  They are the coffee makers that most stores use (Tim Hortons even has their own labled one that you can buy).  They last a very long time, too.  I have had mine for over 11 years, and it works just as well as it did when it was new.  (Which says a lot considering how often it is used!)  They cost about $100, and are available all over the place.

I'm still on my first pot of the day which is Breakfast blend.

Ah....coffee........

I also have a Bunn. Bunn rocks!!
I'm sitting here, drinking a cup of Tanzania Peaberry coffee. Life is good.

By the way, I have to go to the beach on tuesday. Part of my job description. It's gonna be friggin' cold out there. Beautiful, but COLD. I think I'll bring along a thermos of coffee.

Also, for whatever it's worth, by far my favorite CursorXP is Cappuccino, by RadialFX. It's what I use more than anything, even if it doesn't match the rest of my desktop. It's just kinda soothing to watch the steam rise.

your right. Mountain Dew is far superior.

@ eric....Kona, you gotta buy that

No thanks I already own a bicycle with the name of Kona on it.

I prefer 100% Kona Coffee from Lion Coffee http://www.lioncoffee.com/ in either the Original flavor or Macadamia Nut flavor. It's what the 'locals' drink. Otherwise, I settle with drinking whatever sludge they make at work.

Want a little coffee with that milk, c242?
I always drink real milk with my coffee. No sugar though. And I would dare to say that my coffee is still stronger than the average american coffee.
