Bootskin- downloaded skin aint workin

I have tried downloading skins again and again for my Bootskin, but still it aint working...An error message
( There was an error importing the skin file. Possible causea are a corrupt skin file, or a read-only skin directory)always pops up after i try to import or open a new skin file... What do i do, I've already tried downloading the same files again and again...

Need your assistance here... Thanks
