New to this world

from WinCustomize Forums
This evening, I have just learned of this world of windows customizations -- I have spent the last 8 hours learning about programs like Windows Blinds, Object Desktop, DesktopX, Sys Metrix, ObjectDock, etc... I am floored at everyone´s creative abilities to have a different vision of their desktop -- the navigation possibilities are truely endless!! I look forward to learning more -- if anyone has any tips of how to slowly ease into this world, I am all ears!!

If you've spent 8 hours learning about the programs, you're on the right track................ no better way to ease into this. I would suggest you start with WindowBlinds.

Ah. I, like Big here, just found WinCustomize. Truly awesome. I got my PC the way I've always wanted it pretty quickly! But, I was wondering, does anyone know how to change the message next to the shut-down button on the log-on screen (Windows XP Pro)? Like, instead of "Shut down your computer", have it read, "Ease the pain.". I'd appreciate any help. Thanks guys!!
