Groupy+PowerPoint(Excel...) the switch tab will flash after opening new file

Office365, v2.12, already tried purging

Hi,

I'm using Groupy v2.12, and I found a product compatibility problem:
When I open a new file in PowerPoint in Office 365, the switch PowerPoint tab will flash.
And this issue happens in Excel too.

I already tried purge and reinstall Groupy, however the issue still exists.

Groupy v2.12
Windows 10 22H2 19045.3693
Office 365 v2311 17029.20108

I recorded a short video to reproduce the problem, hoping to get it fixed.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks.

So the app is working correctly, you just dont like the screen redraw when PPT is opening?

Yes.

It looks like there are compatibility issues with Microsoft PowerPoint?

Ok, so there is a flicker but I want to be clear here, the app is working, its just that momentary redraw that you are taking issue with, yes?  While I suspect its annoying, you are able to utilize the app perfectly well otherwise, yes?

Hi,

Yes.

This cannot be considered normal use. You can refer to this screen recording (link: https://cln.sh/dLJLPzrj)

It just blinks for 10 seconds, which makes it meaningless.

Originally, this software was designed to make switching more convenient and faster, but the result was that it was not as good as clicking on the taskbar, and it flashed randomly as if it was infected by a virus.

I am having same flashing issue when trying to print to Brother MFC-J4535DW printer.  The print dialog box where you select paper, quality, etc flashes and you cannot select it.  I have groupy v 2.12 and Windows 11 Pro  32GB ram and 2tb ssd.  video card is GTX 1660 Super w/2gb memory.  Intel I9 12900k

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't have that printer to test, but have you tried to set that application from auto group?

Thanks

This would be relevant if we knew more about how you have Groupy set up and if you have Groupy set to group all new opened apps \ windows.  Do you have it so that any new window \ app opened is set to auto group - thus this printer window is grouped to whatever group you have focused?

If so, but you turn that grouping off, do you still see issues?
