Resizing Windows after DesktopX Objects

I have a desktopX menu to the right of my screen(the longhorn one), and I was wondering if you could somehow get Windows to recognize it as a window(like ICQ), so it doesn't overlap the menu when maximing a window.

Is this possible? (I wrote a bit mesy, feel free to ask any questions)

you can configure your workarea in desktopx so when you maximize a window it won't cover a portion of your desktop

Well, you can wait a bit until DX 2.1 is released. Then you can make the bar a true appbar.
Old global workarea settings will still work but be obsolete. DX Appbars work 100x better.
