Issues with KeePassXC hooking into other application windows, and then moving them.

App hook issue?

KeePassXC automatically attaches itself to Microsoft Excel instances, and moving said, opened, Excel windows to whatever monitor KeePassXC opens on. When KeePassXC is closed, the Excel windows then stay on that new monitor.

Further, the ability to exclude KeePassXC windows from Groupy is missing from the top menu bar, while it's present for all other applications that I've run across.


In addition, when manually adding KeePassXC.exe to the exclusions list in Groupy Settings, the behavior is exactly the same. Please help.

Update: It seems this doesn't happen consistently, so I have no idea what's going on here.

  1. Groupy full version number.
  2. Step by step instruction on how to reproduce the issue. And
  3. Post a Video to help us understand the issue better.

I know this sounds weird, but it isn't happening anymore. I have no idea why, but I will post back if and when it starts happening again. However, I still am unable to add it to the exclusions list from the context menu (it shows an empty box).

1. Groupy version: 2.12
2. Simply launch KeePassXC, it usually hooked onto Excel because that was already opened.
3. I will record and post the video here the next time it occurs.
