Start11

Taskbar problems

I expperience some problems with the taskbar of start11: It all worked fine but since today I cannot centre START anymore (it jumps to the left again). I also wonder if it is possible to have START, SEARCH FIELD seaparated so they do not nescessarily stick together. I want the START button on the left, SEARCH on the far right and I want to place the pictograms for Google, Calendar etc where ever I want (like the old taskbar). Who can help me ? Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Unfortunately, there is no such option where you can put anything anywhere you like. As for the Start button not center issue. Need to know on your system. Please provide information on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version number. Use Winver.exe to get those.
  2. Start11 version installed.

Thank you.

Good morning Basj,

I have found the "problem": I wanted to try the START button on the left and other buttons somewhere else on the taskbar wich I did with the "configure START11 configure TASKBAR BUTTONS" where I selected "left START and TASKBAR buttons centre alligned". Now I returned to "centre alligned" and now it's ok again!

What I found is that START11 has different configuration menus which is confusing.

It seems that the taskbar is not as flexible anymore as in Windows 10.

Now that the issue has been resolved I thank you for your help!

Have a nice day.

Regards/ Jan
