They are a option in my neck of the woods along with Sprint, T-Moblie and Verizon and Qwest.

But they want a $1000 dollar deposit for service. My credit sucks.

As for the pets, I REALLY do NOT want to get rid of them but when you are living out of a car and there is no one wilkling to take your pets in for 2 months, what choice do you have?

We will only keep chance (my german shepard) because my wife will not be seperated from her dog. The snakes would never survive without thier heat and the cat is a freak on a leash (not to metion I am not sleeping next to a litter box) and as for the other dog she was abused and needs a good home, not a car.

If your going to have a laptop to handle your internet needs, that's all the phone you really need.

Is a color phone that important? You pay more on color. I have a Motorola 120c on the Verizon Freeup Plan. Nothing Fancy and more than enough to suite my needs.

I can not go with Sprint. I have a very old bill that they say needs to be paid off so I am un able to get service through them.

Kona, I think you should go with a cheap cell phone that you can use as just a phone for work with a cheap plan, and he should get a cheap laptop that works good enough to go online for e-mail and Ebay.

I have a kyocera phone with my CellularOne service and I have no compaints. It works just fine as a phone.
