Activating Fences

from Stardock Forums

I am trying to move Fences to a new computer.  My activation key does not work.  I get a “Fences license has been deactivated” error.

I successfully uninstalled Fences on my old computer.  How do I reactivate the program on the new computer?

 I originally purchased Fences 1.0.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to be clear, you're trying to activate which Fences version? If its version 4, did you purchase an upgrade option for Fences 4? I was trying to activate Stardock Fences v 2.13.  My activation key was from v 1.0 (I bought fences a long time ago).  The FAQ above does not help..no .req file exists.

I bought a new license.

Hello again,

You can not activate V2 Fences with V1 key. you will need V2 key for that. If you just bought I a new license, it most probably for Fences V4.
