URL Update Needed:

Very small issue, however I figured you guys would want to know regardless; I know I would!

Issue:

Update modal/popup notification window contains a link to release notes. The provided link is invalid, resulting in a 404/page not found.

Steps to reproduce:

Launch a version of the app that requires an update. Note the dialog box and link. (screen shots provided above)

Possible Resolution(s):

The desired content exists at "https://www.stardock.com/products/groupy/history". I propose one of the following paths to resolution:

  • Update the content location in the web structure (if it was mistakenly moved from "groupy2" but risk breaking something else if the "groupy2" fad caught on in other places.
  • Correct the link in the update notification (and potentially other locations as-of-yet-to-be-found, lurking in the dark corners of your web infrastructure *insert evil laugh*!)
  • Put a logical forward from /groupy2 > /groupy, lean back, kick your feet up on the desk, and call it a day oh master of the universe. ;)

I have a favorite solution, but I'm a very secretive person, so I shall not share which. ;)

Hi EH

Thank you for reporting this. It should be redirecting correctly now, except that your browser will probably have the redirect cached to the bad url.
