Distinct gap between Groupy bar and the active application

I am trialling Groupy 2 now, and noticed there is a gap between the Groupy bar and the active application.

The gap appears to show the background application.

It occurs at random times. Could it be due to the different sizes of monitors in use? It was working well for the past 2 days though. This issue only occurred on the 3rd day.

Maximizing and minimizing the various applications did not solve the issue.

If I had to guess, you are running Windows 10. I believe this is caused by interacting with the taskbar thumbnails. Stardock tech support have not been able to reproduce this issue.

Here's how you can test this:

Open Groupy2 and on the General tab, set "How should taskbar buttons for Grouped windows appear?" to "Show all." Now open two or three windows in one group and then hover over the the taskbar button for the group and click on one of the taskbar thumbnails and then try to move the grouped window. Try again after clicking on a different taskbar thumbnail. See if you can reproduce the issue you are having.

Here is a link to a video I created to show this issue.

Note how one of the windows moves without the Groupy2 bar.

Hi, this issue is replicated for me in Windows 11 too.  (Windows 22H2, OS Build 22621.1848)

I am using Excel and Vivaldi web browser.

There is a black bar in between the actual application and Groupy. Even after ungrouping Vivaldi, the black bar persists.

It appears that the resolution/sizing of the application is altered. I have to shift my mouse cursor a little higher to click where I originally wished to click.

Hi, is there any update to this issue? Cheers.

It still occurs from time to time.

I understand it is Stardock's vacation now haha.

Have you tried the latest version yet. V2.0? I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Any specific step I need to make to reproduce it?

Thank you,

I am using V2.0. Currently this issue does not occur at the moment.. it seems like a random occurrence.

Btw, is there a possible fix for SecureCRT? Occasionally when I access SecureCRT via the group, the entire group window size will be reduced to around 40% of full screen, and I have to manually maximize it again.
