Problems with mouse switching unless shift is held down

unlock seemless computers and permanent shift press

when the option for mouse switch to be locked to 'only when shift is held down' is engaged there are 2 problems i have found.

1. The seamless computers(assuming windows 10 as that all i can test on) will not unlock unless you they displaying the field for entering the password.

2. if the right hand shift key is depressed when traveling from a secondary to the primary, the system will interpret the shift key as remaining pressed until you travel the cursor away from the primary and then return while holding the left hand shift key.  this behavior does not seem to present while using the left hand shift key.

i have purged/reinstalled on my computers to no effect, the automatic unlock works as expected when this 'unless shift is held down' option is not engaged.
