Words on Taskbar Icons

I've recently upgraded to windows 11 / Start 11 having used Start 8 / 10 for years.

All looks OK except some of my taskbar icons have their names alongside them - eg Inbox, Google and Teams.

This takes up space on the taskbar and isn't helpful.

Can anyone advise how I can delete or edit the words?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you turned on the Taskbar enhance select "Always" on Taskbar buttons should be combined.
