WindowBlinds 10 kills the taskbar

When running WindowBlinds I will randomly be unable to click anything in the taskbar, the start button or use alt+tab. The mouse hovers over items in the taskbar like they are not even there. This includes everything in the taskbar, including the clock.

When it was a rare random glitch once every few months I would reboot and get over it. It has steadily gotten worse over time, to the point that the glitch occurs about 85% of the time WindowBlinds is running. At first I thought it was a bug with the particular skin I had downloaded, but switching to one of the skins that come with WindowBlinds yielded the same results.

I run Windows 10 Pro.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I switch over to Windowblinds 11 recently, but while I am on WB10, few months back, this usually only happen when I have explorer.exe crashed. Which Windows will restart it automatically and everything back to normal.

When it happened on your system. Try restart explorer.exe and see if it help without need to reboot. Here a guide on how to do Explorer.exe restart. https://www.howtogeek.com/198815/use-this-secret-trick-to-close-and-restart-explorer.exe-in-windows/

For me, I made a batch file and keep it handy for me to run at any time.

Thanks
