Problems running Multiplicity KVM

I wanted to use Multiplicity as a KVM

1 Primary PC, and 1 secondary PC in another room (Both running Win10, Ethernet connection on the same network). All connected and worked well.

  1. But when I needed to switch back to my primary PC, nothing was happening. I'm solving this by rebooting my PC. It's not a solution but it was the only way to get my primary PC's control back. (I stopped using the software till I solve this first).
  2. There was an option to add a color border when using the secondary PC, which is really good to have. But now, after rebooting my primary PC, and without me switching to the secondary PC, this color border is showing! Is it normal? I thought this border just to let you remember that you are working on the secondary PC.

I made a search on YouTube in case I found a useful video on the KVM  use cases, but most of the videos are so old and the recent ones mostly talk about KM only.

I hope you have a solution to my problem!

Regards

How that is done is by hovering at the top of the KVM window to reveal the disconnect option:
