Programs Not Grouping (sometimes)

Insert into group here message showing, but window now grouping

I've started seeing the problem within the last 2-3 months with Pycharm. When I try to combine two Pycharm project windows together, which used to work as expected, I see the "Insert into group here" and the windows don't join. I discovered that if I tried combining it with another program (like the Brave browser) it would work and then I could pull the pycharm into the preferred group.

However, today I see the same problem with Microsoft Edge and the Snip & Sketch app, but the programs would never join. I'm running Windows 10 Pro (version 10.0.19045 Build 19045).

Let me just add, I groupy is a great program that made the switch from macOS to Windows bearable a few years ago. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I never use PyCharm, but, today I download and install it just to see the issue you're having. And, I can group the two projects together plus Windows Explorer without issue. BTW, I am on Windows 10 V22H2 (OS Build 19045.22510) and Groupy V1.5

I probably have some conflicting program installed. I'm going to do a reinstall of windows after Christmas and I'll see if that fixes the problem.

Hello Guys, i have similar Issue if i trie to group more than two windows

my set up is Windows 10.
if this option is turned on: (Visual Effects from windows) there is no problem. 

As soon as i turn it off, it stops grouping windows all together and orks only with Strg or Shift Key.

but even with the key it shows up the same status from above "insert group here"
