Improvement for Application Grouping with Virtual Desktops

Option to automatically group windows only in active virtual desktop

Hi, 

The "automatically group identical identical windows together unless in another group" feature is amazing and very useful. However, when working with multiple virtual desktops in Windows 11, I am really missing an option to limit automatic grouping only within the currently active virtual desktop. At the moment, the grouping occurs between desktop, which changes the active desktop and mixes windows from different projects, which is something I am trying to avoid.

Hi, I'm also having issues with the latest Groupy version (30 days evaluation) and Dexpot (on Windows 7). I cannot move the grouped windows to another desktop properly. Is there any alternative to Dexpot working properly with groupy in Windows 7?

I am afraid Groupy will probably be entirely unaware of the virtual desktops Dexpot has created.  This is the issue with third party virtual desktop apps.  For the Windows 10/11 one we can detect virtual desktops as the OS exposes this information to us.

Windows 10, the one i'm using, lacks many features for virtual desktops that Dexpot has, such as displaying the desktops in the taskbar, auto arranging windows into desktops, ...: can you recommend any application that works properly with Groupy and extends the features of Windows 10 virtual desktop?
