How to creat BootSkins

I have some skins I would like to upload that are ntskoskernal (or whatever it is exactly) that I would like to upload for everyone. Can I transfer them to a .Bootskin format. Or can someone at least tell me how to make a bootskin, or a link to explain how plz.

I believe there may be info in the read me text in the bootskin app folder and certainly info posted in several of the threads here on how to make bootscreens for the bootskin app. It just requires bmps. Also look in the WC Help message board for any bootskin threads there.

I figured that out, but I would like to know how to get the progress bar working if anyone knows. I am uploading my image right now, but there is no progress bar, when i Learn how to use it, I will update...

You'll need to define the horiz. and vert. starting points of the progress bar as well as its width. Also, the progress bar .bmp, as with the bootskin needs to be 4 bit 16 colors.

ok its all set, other than the progress bar, dont wanna take the time to finish that tonight, ill include that in an update. But when I upload the file I get this error message? why?

Error uploading file: Invalid format

The file : 'Alienware.bmp' is not allowed to be uploaded (Error 1010)

ok, but right now I cant even export it to save it. It wont let me to any of the files, not just fine? Anyone know why?

Here's a 'guess'...the file you are trying to export is incomplete....as your skin is incomplete.

Try finishing it....including all that is 'needed' and see what happens....

It is completed I copied the form from that of the existing skins. I cant even export those...
