And it was me that made the first one. I've made 7 new calendar sets, and tried to upload them as a single batch. That produced an error during uploading, so I figured that was because the file size was too large. So I uploaded them individually. This was successful, and they showed up under 'my skins' as 'waiting for approval'. Unfortunately, I had made a mistake with one of them and uploaded a jpg instead of a zip. I updated that particular set before it was reviewed. Just a few minutes ago, I received an email that that particular set was rejected...I figured I knew why.

My question is; what happened to the other sets I uploaded? I only got the one rejection notice, but all of them have disappeared from 'my skins'.

Hey Brainiac. If you don,t mind me asking, What is the name of the service that u use that costs only $40 a month? We've been thinking about upgrading, but I've not yet heard of such an inexpensive deal as you have.

sorry crissy,its alocal service started by two guys fed up with the local dialup.They started with aT1 line (about 800$ a month)and put up a tower and bought some radios.Great idea and could be done anywhere.You could sell internet service to your neighbors.

Thanks Kosatai, I actually use Download Accelerator 5.3 but unfortunately more and more sites do not support any download manager or the resume option (WC being one of them)

Umm, I wouldn't be so sure about WC not supporting download managers...I download from here using Getright all the time.

Netscape has a download manager and it works pretty well.

Then again I have DSL so I haven't tested it fully.

I have to check out this 21 meg file for myself.

I'm on a cable modem, and I get download speeds using FlashGet of about 3 seconds per megabyte for $42,95 per month. (It works on WinCustomize, too.). I've had it since '99, and I wouldn't ever go back to dial-up either. At the time I was using AOL with a 56k modem on a Pentium II 400mHz computer with 64MB of RAM and a 300MB hard drive (and a 13" monitor). Now 4 years later I have this blazing connection using Comcast Cable on a Pentium 4 Hyperthreaded 2.4gHz computer with 1GB of Ram and a 120GB hard drive (and a 21" monitor). And when I was younger I had a Commodore 64 with a cassette tape drive at home and used a TRS-80 at school! Remember those? And that 64 stood for 64K... and that was the whole computer, with no hard drive or anything!

Man! Ain't technology great? Can you believe the progress we've made over the last 2 decades? Using those old machines I mentioned you couldn't even skin a cursor!! Now we have 3MG per skin for a calendar - you gotta love the irony!

Sorry, don't know why this thread got me thinking along those lines, but I just HAD to post my thoughts.

By the way, did any your calendar docklets ever make it through approval? I'd like to try them out.
