Diane, everyone and I mean each and every person who makes use of human interaction throughout each day of their life is in the process of learning the mechanics of it. Don't take things to heart too deeply and try to remember that there is a lot of communication removed from the process which is there in person. Inflection of voice, tone, facial expression, body language and a multitude of other key things that a person picks up on by subconscious means.

Something else that comes through without knowing it is taking place happens to be self perception of the context in which someone posts.

I did read up and found what I think this thread is based upon. You have no reason to find fault with that post. Some took it wrong and some didn't, those that did will figure it out and learn from it or won't and that is their loss.

I guess what I am saying is do not take others baggage upon yourself as your own because it tends to get too heavy and no one expects it of you and you should expect it of yourself least of all...

I too have no idea what you're talking about, so either I missed something really egregious or it was really no big deal. I suspect perhaps the latter? Anyway, you'll have to go way far to achieve all time infamy here. I won't mention the names of a couple of infamous posters here for fear I'll summon them up again like spirits. Anyway, if you really are bad you'll have to work at it a lot harder to get noticed. If not, relax and enjoy.

Good heavens....I hope that's not it.....just slightly wrong on two counts....wasn't my screenshot [originally], and 'top skinners' is just plain wrong....but I do KNOW some top skinners, so you were close....

, well, jafo is indeed famouse because of his skinning talent however his bigest talent are brycewalls, nice guy, only his grammar sucks j/k

they need to clearify what they expect, they say to post your favorite screenshot, they don't say anything about creating it yourself! I probably did the same thing! I took a screenshot of what my screen looks like, thanks to apocolyps67 and some other excellent skinners! I'll probably catch a ration of shirt for it too!

Screenshots are screenshots of your own desktop as you say. You don't have to be the author of the wall or skins displayed. The wall however should be somewhat obscured as noted in the screenshot thread to prevent copying. That's all.
