New winamp

I just installed Winamp5, it integrates itself with your winamp2.9 folder. I gave it the modern look, and it is really. Chevk it out.

it still sounds great.

Winamp5 is still beta....but its looking very good and i have been testing it quite a bit over the past 3 days with version 2 and 3 skins and found it absolutely superb

I am emphatically in love with the Winamp5 beta. I think it's great!! Why didn't they make this sooner?

Okay, okay, I've heard enough good things about Winamp5 beta. I hate betas, but I'm going to give this thing a try. If it crashes my system though, I'm coming back to yell at you, thehighlander. lol.

Chas.......you won't regret it.

Hus....you got the bug as well. Have you tried the MMD3 skin and the Mercury skin.........wow........the Winamp Modern which comes with the beta is nice as well. All of these three skins have so many colour combinations you can match any WB skin that you throw at it.

I just love how you can switch between Winamp2 skins and Winamp3 skins on the fly, like nothing. That is the BEST friggin' part! I really like this one... https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=10&SkinID=821 MMD3 is one of the greatest skins ever created in skinning as a whole...IMHO.

you´re not alone. nearly 9 million downloads at winamp.com speak for themselves. it´s the most succesful skin ever. btw, it´s by the same skinner that also did the modern default skin: Sven Kistner (bartibartman)

You can have the MMD3 skin colors on the modern skin. Make a copy of the modern skin and call it what ever you want (MMD3 Modern is what I did) then copy the color-presets.xml file from MMD3 and youv'e got it. This wasn't my idea, just reporting. Have fun.
