has anyone created a iTunes visual style? i have been slowlly learning how to skin with skinstudio but am a long way off from being able to put together anything good.

itunes really has a nice look and i think it would be a very popular visual style.

You could probably just use something like https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=Jaguar&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=1&OS=on

Yes, iTunes just has that ugly brushed-silver look that Apple is carying all over the place in all its software.

They should have made iTunes skinnable.

Or at least have different looks in the works or have people be able to skin it stand allow like ICQ or something.

I'd like to see an iTunes visual style too. One that is exactly like it. First one to make a WB one I'll give a free copy of Object Desktop to or a 1 year extension.

Heck, we could even ask Apple if they'd like to provide it to users. I'd bet Apple would get a kick out of being able to have PC users have an iTunes styled desktop.

Basically just need to take a brushed metal Aqua type theme and change the title bar.

Not iTunes exactly...but pretty close...got that brushed look.

Yes but it's not iTunes.

Like I said above:

I'm not sure I understand, Brad.
How is iTunes different ? It's just the same brushed silver as Quicktime, Safari,  or all the other i apps. I wouldn't say iTunes has a look of it own...

Anyway. A nice offer though.

It's not different except that it's title bar has the Windows button style instead of the aqua orbs.

First one to upload an accepted one (i.e. not a rip) I'll send an Object Desktop sweatshirt to.

I made one from existing skin parts (Which means I can't upload it).

But here's what it look slike:

That's what I had in mind for the title bars.

Rumour has it that Brad is offering a second prize as well for the first person to submit a matching Icon scheme. The prize is a years subscription to

And if the winner does the skin /without/ an apple logo on the start button - you get my eternal love and adoration!

/me watches skinners running for the hills screaming. "Darn."

Tempting though - getting my now expired Object Desktop subscription renewed. *sigh*

Apple has a screen shot of Itune's on their site. It's a bit large for the expanded one but there is a smaller one for download.

Not to out right rip from, but for inspiration and comparison...

The main page: http://www.apple.com/pr/photos/ilife/ilife.html

The agreement download page: http://www.apple.com/pr/photos/ilife/itunes_screen_agreement.html

Did anyone ever create an actual iTunes-looking Windowblind?  I found one for StyleXP, but I'm too deep in with Stardock's products at this point to switch to another customization suite.

I use this one. It's not MUCH different, but it's something.

Good catch. I'm so oblivious....not only did I respond to a 6 year old thread, I posted something off topic  ^_^'

Actually, I posted to a 6-year old thread asking if it had ever been resolved, and just not mentioned.  You just saw my request.  :)

What I'm actually looking for, though, is a Windowblind that works on WinXP that looks like the iTunes interface (black, brushed metal, curved everything, etc.).
