4k Blue Plasma

Can anyone (with vastly more technical prowess than I possess) upgrade the Blue Plasma Dream either from the original or the HD version to 4k?  I have been a fan of Blue Plasma since it debuted, and now would love to see it on my desktop in full 4k glory!!!

Hello,

It's the weekend now and support is off but when they return and

Blue Plasma Dream being a Stardock Design Dream I'll check with

Stardock about updating such dreams to 4K ..

So stay-tuned for further update on this ...

Blue Plasma has been my background since 2008/2009, with the only interruptions being when technical difficulties have presented themselves.  One of those has been the need for an MPEG 2 codec, which is no longer included in Windows.  Perhaps MPEG 2 can be baked in, along with the upgrade to 4k?  Seriously, Blue Plasma in 4k will be epic!!!

Thank you so much for responding so quickly, and for any and all assistance!

Cheers!

Go to KLite and download. The Mega codec pack thats what I use and all will work fine.

With the default install.

BTW .. Have you re donwloaded the Blue Plasma dream lately because awhile back I re converted that dream from mpeg2 format to todays format. So it should work fine it work's fine on my Win11 PC.At the time I just conerted the mpeg 2 issue but didnt update to 4k .

Thanks for the response!  Much appreciated!

I found, and have been using the KLite solution for quite a while, now...  It works really well.  I did try to run Blue Plasma without it a few weeks ago, after updating to Windows 11, and found that it worked until I restarted the computer.  I then reinstalled the KLite codec pack.

I will download a fresh Blue Plasma dream, and see if that works without the KLite codec pack.

Do you think the 4k conversion will be possible?

Thanks, again!

Turns out there's a Blue Plasma dream by CarGuy and SD so I'll

see what can be done about that ....

If you  have DS11 go in the app to the Stradock design dreams and download

their Blue Plasma dream that's the one I worked on and it works fine for me .

Under Popular Authors all the dream makers are listed you'll find SD dreams.

If you want the one by Carguy you'll need to send bim a PM and see if he would update that version as per your request.
