Basj, I installed this and I think it helped, but I have still experienced some crashes. There do seem to be fewer paths to a certain crash (hard to be sure though). Here is one consistent way I can make it crash 100% of the time in version 1.11:
1. Left click on folder, like Documents, in the left nav area that's set to "Show as menu" in the Start 11 settings. It opens fine.
2. Now while it's open, with Start Menu set to "Windows 10 Style," left-click in a blank area of the Start Menu. The mouse cursor icons change to show it's working, then, in about 3 seconds Explorer crashes and restarts. Alternatively, with menu set to "Modern Style" hover over "Universal Applications" until the menu appears, then again, click in a blank space on the Start menu. Same exact spinning cursor, then Explorer crashes within 2-3 seconds.
If I instead right click on the folder and select open, it opens fine. There is clearly something about Start 11 and the folder tree that causes it to kill and take down Windows 11 Explorer.
