Disable DeskScapess 11 beta

Is there anyway to disable deskscape?

I found post referring to disable in the bottom left option, but it seems like this option was for older versions? I enjoy the program and like to have animated background, but sure like to have the option to disable it.... or at least select a static color as background (new feature maybe?)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I understand, you can disable DeskScapes just by applying any Desktop wallpaper of your choice via Windows (Right click on desktop->Personalize->Background). Change that to picture, solid color or Slideshow. This will auto disable Deskscape 11.

Thanks

Hello,

also to add that Now DeskScapes11 includes both Dream animations

but also Static Images so you can set a single image from the DS app now .

yes the Disable function is still there though - click on settings at the bottom

Wow.. that was a quit reply.

I do however not have the disable button in the menu (see attached picture from this morning).

Funny enough I was experimenting a lot yesterday trying to disable via applying a windows background from the windows menu (Right click on desktop->Personalize->Background). It didn't change anything except freezing the background for a few seconds but now... it worked (the freeze still happened but after 10 sec or so I got my normal background back).

So I'm satisfied at the moment :D but maybe Stardock needs to figure out if the vanishing disable button is an intermittent issue.
I'd be happy to share my spec if needed.

Anyhow.... nice work and I look forward for the final release.

Hi guys.

Sorry, there is no difference. I did the purge, reboot, redownloaded the program, reinstalled and retried.

Deskscape does however inactivate when I select a picture background when I select a background image in the windows option (Right click on desktop->Personalize->Background), but with Fences 4 installed all fences get a black background, instead of the selected background color. Looks a bit strange.

I'm probably not the only one experiencing these problems. (It's a beta.. so I'm fine with it)
