Computers are my hobby since 1979. In that period there was no trace of DOS and CP/M was ruling. The first home computers started to appear. Sinclair, Commodore, Amstrad, Acorn, Atari. Just to name a few. And how about "Jet Set Willy", "Pssst!" and "Attack of the Mutant Camels"?

My first computer was a Coco (Tandy Color Computer). It came with a manual teaching Basic. So, my first program was something like this:

10 print "Hello"
20 goto 10

My first computer class taught us ASCII codes. It was crazy. Our first computers in school were Apples and we played this game where we ran a country and if we didn't give them enough "bread and circuses", they would revolt on us. There were no graphic, just text. My stars how the time goes by. Twenty or so years ago. I'm sure it wasn't that long ago

The first computer I got was a TI99/4A. 3.3Mhz processor (a real screamer!).
You could write programs to save on cassette tape and it also had a slot for game cartridges. This was one of my favorites

I used to write ZX Spectrum games in my youth, a few of which are still kicking around somewhere online. I even wrote a paint program for making loading screens, but it was hardly a Photoshop beater.

The 1st comp I ever use was an Apple IIc...Which was better than my elementary school's classroom macs at the time. (Apple I)

I had an Amstrad computer - I think it ran something called GEM which kind of looked like a combination of early windows and early apple.

Lol. I remember old DOS days too. C64 was before my time however.

try this: make sure not to incude the lines that have the ( ).

( start loop.bat file )
@echo off
Echo Echo Hello! >> hello.bat
Echo Echo How are you? >> hello.bat
echo @echo off > loop2.bat
type hello.bat > loop2.bat
echo loop >> loop2.bat
loop2
( end loop.bat )

You don't need to make hello.bat or loop2.bat the batch file will make it for you.

It will run very fast, and only way to stop it is via old shortcut to stop batch processing. Just hit ctrl-c and press y.
