Cannot enable Fences on Windows 10 after 3.10 update

Fences version was updated to 3.1.0.5 over a week ago, though the system's first reboot since then was today.

Running Windows 10.0.19043 Build 19043 (WINDOWS 10 HOME 21H1).

Following the reboot, Fences layout does not start. Right mouse clicking on the desktop to Enable Fences does nothing.

When I run Fences from the Start menu, it acts as if this is a brand new setup. I can see my snapshots in Layout Snapshots and choose one, but no change.

What needs to be done to bring me back my stored fences?

Will the purge erase all the links of my current fencing? If so, is there a way of saving those so as to import them after the purge/new version installation?
