fences gone & can't activate Fences after a reinstall

My fences vanished this morning. I was using version 3.1.0.5. In an attempt to get the fences back, Fences was uninstalled (version 3.1.0.5) and the original version was installed (version 3.08).

I tried to Activate Fences with my product key. I entered the product key and the email address used when purchased.  I get the message “Email address is not valid for the product key.”

How can I get this product activated so I can use Fences again? Are there versions of Fences to avoid so the missing fences issue does not return?

Reboot and ReInstall the latest version from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

The dept that purchased the software found the correct email address to use and I was able to activate the software (ver 3.09.11). All is well now. Thanks!
