My Groupy wishlist.

Just a few things I would like to see come to groupy.

1. Configurable delay while opening individual programs of a group.

2. Remember last active tab on reopen of saved group.

3. Moving a group via the tab bar to use WindowFX settings like Wobbly windows etc...

But, not really clear what do you mean by this one. Can you elaborate more on it?

Thank you,

Sure. For example I have a group which opens 5 programs. I would like to delay the opening of each. For example opening them one at a time with a delay of say 3 seconds between each. One issue I have is sometimes while opening a group the first 2 or 3 are grouped and the last remaining ones start in a new group. So I end up with 2 seperate groups instead of one group with 5 tabs. This is likely caused due to the time it takes to open the individual programs. Depending on the program it may open faster sometimes and slower on others.

If groupy could be made to 'Wait' for each program to completely load before opening the next item in the group you can avoid that however there is no way for groupy to know (in some cases) when the program has fully initialized (WaitForInputIdle does not always work) so having a user defined wait time can help with those situations
