DJ, just like most things in life, you have to give in order to recieve. The more you give the more you recieve.
If you contribute more to the site, Im sure your download size will increase. But so far all I can see in your library is 2 designs.

2 uploads will not get you promoted............  complaining about reaching you D/L cap won't do it either.  You don't have to buy a subscription, ANY Stardock purchase will work. You don't have to buy any Stardock stuff either............ you can earn a promotion other ways.

Did you purchase any of Stardock's shareware programs? You should be able to set up your Wincustomize account with your purchase info to have unlimited download access.

Just so you know, I noticed that if you are not signed in, you can download as much as you want...Might want to fix that..

Let me tell you all something. I didn't buy anything and got promoted, so the system does work. I'am a subscriber now because I like this site and I felt I should help it. Each person has to do what they feel is right for themselves. If you want to leach, leach. If you want to support, support. Everyone is free to make up their own mind.

DesignDJ....strangely the purchase of 'something' actually helps you as much as it helps the site.....Wincustomize gets assistance in maintaining its massive bandwidth and you get greater functionality with WindowBlinds [for example] and/or very extensive customizing [GUI] tools eg. Object Desktop....and access to a faster server making your 'enjoyment' of the site even greater.

Pretty darn good deal, really...

Promotion comes by colaboration to the site, either by contributing with skins/designs or by helping out on the message boards [helping those in need of information, aiding those that seek help with technical problems, etc]

DesignDJ, I helped people on the messageboard when they had problems. IE, can't load WB on my machine, how do I put a logon on, why can't I download whatever and so on and so on. Its participation on the MSGBD, not crying on it.Helping people who in turn learn and help other people.

DesignDJ, was not refering to you or anyone in specific. Was talking in general as someone in the past asked the same question, but all he did was cause trouble all the time and thought that because he was on the MSGBD a lot that he was contributing. That doesn't count. Thats why I said the crying thing so no one would think that counted.

You know I first came to this site last November. I uploaded my first CursorXP soon after. I purchased the CursorXP program soon after that. I talked on the message board and uploaded more cursors over the next few months. I purchased my subscription to the site after that when I learned they were having server problems and I wanted to help out as best I could. Since then I have made quite a few more cursors and few walls and have learned how to make WindowBlinds. By the way if it were not for a lot of helpful members of this site I never would have figured out how to make them. I now have Object Desktop purely by choice.
Now yes, my rank has gone up during this time but it is mostly because the time I put into the site. But also I never had to worry about what I could download because I purchased the CursorXP program way at the beginning. Hey, I was using it and making them I wanted/needed the full program.

I've been at this site since before it was called Wincustomize, back when all there was, was libarys at stardock.com. I've been helping people on the message board since the message board's creation, and I have purchased skin suites, cursor xp, a wincustomize subscription and object desktop. I never once complained about a cap on my downloads, or about problems with the site, because since the begining I have done everything in my power to help this site grow. My participation on this site was never questioned. That why I find it offensive when people ask why they don't get what I've paid for, for FREE. 50 Megs is alot of skins. You have more than passed your free trial period. I am now asking you, would you rather join us all and help the site grow, or leave? Those are your choices. You get alot for your money with Stardock (I can personally guarantee it). If you want a recommendation, go with Object Desktop (you get a lot for 49.99).
