Fences "ghost" when moved

from Stardock Forums

I just installed Fences and I am using the 30 trail.  I made 2 changes to the settings; I changed the window title size and the title color.  When I drag a window the window background color is painted over the Windows Desktop background and remains.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system and issues.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  2. Does the issue happen only on Single color background or does it also happen on normal wallpapers?
  3. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling. Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I have reinstalled according to your FAQ and the issue is still occurring.

I am using Windows 10 - Build 19042.928

Nvidia driver version 466.11 (04/14/2021)

 

I changed to a picture background and the ghosting does not seem to happen.  

I will do some more testing later today and report back.
