Fence storage including icons and hyperlinks

Tomorrow my HD will be wiped out. Do you know how to store my fence layout including the icons and hyperlinks, so it can be restored after?

You can refer to this guide for Snapshots layout backup : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots. You still need to make sure all your programs physical location will be at the same location as before.

Hello Basj,
Today I installed Fences again but was unable to reach: Vista/7/8/10: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Stardock\Fences\Backups
Yesterday I was able to access this file location. Maybe you have an idea. For some reason all my hyperlinks from yesterday were recovered on the desktop, but I don't know which program did so. Some icons were lost.

Hello Basj,
The file was hidden. Now I installed my old file in this location. When I let Fences restore the layout of yesterday, it seems Fences has a bug. The icons are somewhat jumping around on the desktop and do not fall into place into the fences. I rearranged the icons again by hand and it is ok now. Maybe something for Fences to have a look at.
