Can I keep a Fence pinned to a specific display in a two-display setup?

I have a two-display setup on Windows with Fences on both displays.  I use an HDMI switch so that display 1 can be shared with a Mac. This lets me switch the main display between Mac and Windows.  I have Fences on both displays.

When I switch the display 1 to Mac and then back to Windows, the Fences on display 1 are unaffected. But the Fences on display 2 move from display 2 to display 1, and I have to move them back.  Is there any way to tell the display 2 Fences to remember that they are associated with display 2 so that they do not move?

At the moment, this is only a minor annoyance.  I suspect it will be a bigger problem if I add a second HDMI switch allowing me to share both displays between Mac and Windows.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Open Fence app to Layout and click on a restore point you want

Try a Snapshot restore next time this happens

That's a very nice feature. I didn't realize it existed.

Also in the "Layout features and snapshots" tab, there's a checkbox "When I plug in a new primary monitor, move my icons to it."  The box is checked by default.  I unchecked the box and it does exactly what I want.  The Fences on display 2 remain on display  when I switch display 1 back to windows.

Problem solved!  Thanks.
