1 column fences not working

Hi
For some time I've had 2 fences with 3 icons in each, positioned as 1x3.
They sit in the corner of each of my dual screens, and roll down to show these three key icons.
Yesterday/Today, the icons have been repositioned as 2 columns - in doing so hiding one of the icons from view.
I have tried expanding, reducing, recreating, including more icons, uninstalling fences and reinstalling with a fresh .exe download.
The problem is 1 column fences are plotting icons across 2 columns, and hiding column 2 from view.
The only windows update prior to the problem occurring was KB5001330 on 15/04.
Windows is currently up to date as at today, and as above fences has been uninstalled and reinstalled with a freshly downloaded install file.
Has anyone else got/had this problem and know a fix?
