CAN'T Open "Configure Fences"!

in Win10 system

from Stardock Forums

Everytime I right-click and chose "Configure Fences" from the list, it doesn't respond.
So currently I can't create new fences or organize those already existed.
HELP!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  2. Fences version.
  3. What changed recently? Windows updates? Driver updates etc?
  4. New Antivirus/security software or updates?

Windows version: 1803(OS 17134.2026)
Fences Version: downloaded just now (already purchased)
Changing: None, I re-installed several times and it keeps going wrong. Btw, I have banned the auto-upgrade service for Win10 few days ago.
Antivirus: only enable those from Win10 system(maybe it's a problem...but I tried to stop the antivirus from Win10 and fences didn't work as well. Maybe I didn't stop the right service?

Hello,

Any specific reason you're not updating Windows 10 v1803? Which has reach its end of service in 2019. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/status-windows-10-1803. It best to use the latest official Windows 10 version since Fences has also evolved accordingly.
Please also try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
