Fences Questions

How to, just simply, very easely, strait, fast,...DELETE a fence ?????

PLEASE :

1)  How can one just simply delete a fence ?????  (Can't believe I have to(?) come here, make an account on forum to hope to get this answer and did not find it in any (online) Aid-section etc or intuitively in Fences menu or interface in the first place. (?) )

2)  How to customize Fence in order to indeed have to click once the Fence for it to roll out, and again for it to close, instead of just only fly over with the mouse ? (I cannot(!!!!!!!!!!?) de-click the box that says (in french) "automatically open with fly-over with mouse." !

THANKS !

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Right-click on your desktop to VIEW scroll down to Lock Fences

and make sure it's unchecked .

Then go to any fence top right corner and click on the " X "

to delete the fence .

Also right click on desktop to Configure Fences , opens the app

to allow you to make changes .

So I have indeed been stupid !  Good to be reminded of that:-)

However I still have not understood how to make the roll-out and rol-in (oprn and clos a fence) by clicks (single click prefered).

I understand how to make it stay open.

I have arranged (listed) closed fences, closed such that these closed fences now look like bars (with name of it). These bars are listed like lines of a text block; a paragraph. That means that when the mouse goes over the top bar it will open and cover (the view to the) bares of the other fences underneath the open one. Now I cannot hoover over to the next ones (because they are covered!) unless I go with the mouse to the left or to the right out of the way (unfortunately over the adjacent rows of bars). Only then the open fence will close automatically and reveal again the closed ones underneath. I want to be able to stay with the mouse on the bar and click and close without all fences around to wildly fly open all over the place - just because the mouse hoovers above them.  But I do want the fences to be closed in order to use the  space underneath (save) them for placing other closed fences.

..makable ?

tahnks !

Sorry :  No need to answer the above here in this thread here.

I don't know how to delete my reply above, -that I reformulated as a new thread (Called "Doable...?" in Fence-Forum) ...
