Copying/Pasting from one fence to another

Hello. I often have a need to move some/all items from one fence to another.

IF I select the items in one fence and try to drag them to another fence, often the items end up on the desktop (orphaned) rather than into the destination fence.

So far, the ONLY way I have been able to accomplish this is to cut the items out of a given fence and paste them into a NEW folder. Then I can copy the items into the destination fence.

Is there something I am missing or is a limitation of bug in fences? Could the development team assist with this?
