Wallpaper Goes Black

Happens right after installing Fences

from Stardock Forums

As soon as I install fences I have weird issues where wallpaper goes black. Have to reselect the background color to fix. It happens regularly though and I keep needing to do this. Sometimes highlighting an icon where it would show a highlighted colour, it goes black and then stays like that. Have tried on multiple fresh builds. 

Windows 10  20H2 (OS Build 190412.685)

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know.

  1. Fences version?
  2. When does wallpaper turn black? Any specific point when the wallpaper turn black?
  3. Do you use WallpaperEngine? or any other wallpaper manager?
  4. Please try disable/un-tick "Translucent Fence background.

2 - Not that I know of, seems pretty random, that and black squares randomly appearing behind icons

3 - No

4 - Have tried that for a few days, seems to still happen

Does the issue happen if you apply a picture type wallpaper?
