Empty Fences after Restore

Hey all,
I've done a bit of searching through earlier posts, but I don't seem to have come across a solution for my problem yet. My computer died a little back, and luckily I was able to restore fences from a snapshot from the day before it died. However, when I do, my desktop becomes a jumbled mess, and each fence is completely empty. My desktop isn't on my C: drive, but rather my D: drive, as this installation of windows is pointing towards an old installation of windows' desktop. I have checked that it's not pointing into dropbox or onedrive, so I don't think that's the issue, and I have attempted to switch my desktop to a different location and back to no avail. This is quite frustrating, as I have a very cluttered desktop right now that's nigh unusable.

Happy new year!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, from what I understand, Fences need your desktop be in C:\Users\xxxx\Desktop . Any other location will not work for Fences. Please move your desktop back to its previous location.

Thanks

That's weird since I was able to run this configuration before my computer died. I'll try moving it back to C:, though I was keeping it on the other drive since it's over 100gig of stuff.

I moved all the stuff over to C: and attempted to restore again, no luck. Nothing went back into the fences.

My guess is that your admin account has changed somehow and the fences setting does not recognize it any longer. Best solution I can offer is to rebuild the Fences manually.

Thank you,
