Define Crime

https://www.joeuser.com/index.asp?AID=65

What exactly is crime? In the United States, what is considered "stealing" is amazingly narrowly focused.  I wrote this article (Draginol is the other handle I use and one I hope to eventually migrate to -- FROGboy? Ack, anyway..) that talks a bit on this subject.

Oh I dunno, I kinda like FrogBoy, makes me think of snapping up bugs( as in knocking the bugs out of the I/O unit so the punch cards read correctly) kinda like de-bugging

Draginol is a good un also, ever read the Dragon Riders of Pern series?

Ummm, back to the topic, I'll go read the article before commenting out my arse

thats a first, huh?

Oklahoma filed criminal charges against the former head of MCI today. MCI filed for bankruptcy after an $11 billion accounting scandal. Please see http://money.cnn.com/2003/08/27/technology/mci_charges/index.htm

Whether these charges are upheld in criminal court or not remains to be seen. Hearings to determine whether MCI will be allowed to emerge from bankruptcy are scheduled to begin nex month. Very simply put, MCI owed more money than they actually had, about $30 billion in debt. If allowed by a judge, they would emerge from bankruptcy having paid about 1/10 of that amount.

It is only a crime if you get caught.
I think this is how crime is defined.
When you speed in your car do you feel that you are committing a crime?

Or how about this one.

It is only a crime if you are found guilty.

Reality might look different to every observer.
