Fences resets when going to Desktop or moving window using Windows Key + arrow key

I have installed the latest version of Fences (version 3.0.9.11) on a Windows 10 Enterprise system. When I go to my desktop (Windows Key + D) or move a window (Windows Key + arrow key) my desktop is reset, turns black and all icons on desktop top and taskbar disappear. This takes a few seconds before all is back.

I have already de-installed Fences (including manually deleting several registry settings) and performed a clean install without loading an older snapshot. As soon as I enable Fences the problem is visible (even without drawing a Fence on my desktop). when I disable Fences via the Fences app the problem is gone.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. This usually happen with Corporate Environment PC. Is this the case with your PC? Do you have Websense / Forcepoint or something similar installed in your system?

As far as I know Websense/Forcepoint is not installed. You refer to something similar. What other software would be a possible reason for this issue? Are there log files kept by Fences which I can check for errors?

Had a look at the post you refer to. This is actual about Fences crashing, which I not the cash for me. However I have tried the suggestions in the post but they did not work for me. Guess there is nothing else to do than to remove Fences and stop using it :-(.

If this kind of problems only (or mainly) happen in Cooperate environments I suggest that this is mentioned somewhere when you like to purchase Fences unless you still have other suggestions to solve this problem.

Windows turn black and come back is something usually related to Explorer.exe crashing and it restart itself.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Just tried the purge and reinstall steps but unfortunately the problem is still existing (I tried is directly after the new install without having even created new Fences).

Because of security reasons I am not able to perform the Cleanboot procedure so I am not able to test this.
