Install of software on new computer with Windows 10 Pro

Able to download, install but Fences does not run

from Stardock Forums

New computer, trying to install Fences.  Downloaded the software and used the auto setup function.  It created 3 fences.  

Then tried to create another Fence.  Able to draw Fence and the popup appeared to Create Fence here.  


 When I left click on Create Fence the Fence disappears.   

I have checked the  task manager and both instances of Fences are enabled.

  I have license for 

Fences® 3 Upgrade - Download
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

 and have been using Fences since Fences 1 was released.  Never had this problem.

I have not been asked for activation code since the install of Fences.  What have I done wrong? 

 

NOTE:  I have screen shots of the above description but were unable to load them and could not find any assistance in the Post to resolve the issue.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, to ensure you have a good install, please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
