Fences keep saying "Fences is not activated"

I have purchased fences a year ago now every time I start up my windows, it shows me a window to activate fences. I don't want to uninstall and re-install fences from steam to get rid of this problem as it will likely to reset all my desktop configuration. Moreover, since I bought it from steam, these product-specific keys are not listed within Stardock's native key retrieval page. 

Also, all my emails to [email protected] account are futile as all I have received is an auto-reply message with gibberish recommendations. I couldn't find any keys in the steam pages/ steam does not provide this so please fix this. 

 

I would be pleased if this could be resolved quickly as this is truly annoying to see this message every day.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You do not need activation key, if you bought Fences from Steam. Just make sure you installed the Steam version only. If you have install Stardock direct version, you need to uninstall that version and reinstall Steam version only. If you still have issue on activation via steam, it might be you have reach maximum activation and your activation need a reset. If you do, you will need to raise a support ticket using this link : http://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit  , you do not need to login to raise a support ticket. And Support will help you from there.
