Credits Decreasing During Game Play

Have found recently that after a couple hours of play, credits will start decreasing inversely to the accumulation of metal and crystal. Credits will eventually zero-out. Has only started up in the past few weeks and only occurs after a couple of hours of play. Quite annoying, really.

What game are you playing? Sins of a Solar Empire?

If so, make sure you are getting the first few population upgrades on your planets ASAP. Most planets have a negative credit penalty until you get the first population upgrade or two. At that point the penalty is removed and you'll get tax income proportional to the population.
