DeskScapes not more working

after Windows 10 update

Hello dear community,

I have a problem with DeskScapes. Everything was amazing before Windows 10 update was coming.

After that, first, my animated Wallpaper was freezing. After that I tried to change a Wallpaper and now I just have a black screen.

I was already trying some steps from FAQ:

1. Install CODECS (also MPEG 2)

2. Reinstall DeskScapes by using DSPurge.bat script.

3. Reboot, reboot, reboot...

4. Administrator... 

Nothing helps.

If I try to change another static wallpaper with DeskScape - but nothing changes (DeskScape seems to have no control of Windows). If I choose a animated wallpaper, DeskScape show me a message “Loading background preview” but nothing happens. 

What can I do? Thank you!

Hello,

I have Win10v2004 with latest updates and all works for me 

so let's try purge again follow my steps below.

Would you do this PURGE: https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling

Reboot and ReInstall the latest version from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

Reboot , test and report back please.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Open your Deskscape app and click on settings ( top right )

and see in my image there are 3 settings mine is set in the image using EVR

But there are the other 2 settings try each setting click OK and see if one of

those work for you .

Also try shutting down your AV software and see if that works

and if you have a security program set to allow Deskscapes .

Report back .
