kona - everyone is right, you should report it to his ISP and it wouldn't hurt to mention it to your local police too. Maybe they have a geek on the force that would love to track this guy down.

and meanwhile, also like people said, don't worry. There's not much you could do to stop a determined killer hiding in the shadows with a high powered rifle...

well Jafo is helping me with the email thing (I think) I asked where to report it. it was a pretty scary death threat.

kona, I'd recommend you show it to your local police, or the state cops. They'd probably like to send someone over to interview this guy... and it'd be better for you to know if the guy lives in another country or something.

The stupid thing about it is people make threats such as this thinking they mean something and they do not have a clue as to what they could be getting them self into. Either with the law or actually showing up.
