Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, after watching your video couple of times, I still can not see what is your issue. Can't see the undocked tabs. Please do another one which could show us the issue more clearly.

Thanks.

hello good night the problem happens in the (task bar) if you notice the folders are cluttered

I mean that when moving to the other extended desktop, and then moving it to the main desktop maximized it stops being a single folder

I wanted to ask you if you understood me or do you need another video?

Okay, I saw it. The taskbar buttons on Windows Explorer breaks. Few questions.

1) Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.

2) Groupy versions.

3) if you change your taskbar buttons to "show labels", does the issue happen?

4) Without displayfusion does the issue happen?

Thank you,

3 the problem keeps happening even worse the folders are separated as if you were opening each one in the task bar.

4 the problem happens when I use displayfusion, if the program is not active it does not happen. I would like you to get along.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

The issue may be an option in DisplayFusion to show only tasks on a given monitor on each taskbar, so on moving back they add it back.

Does DisplayFusion have such a setting and if you change it, does it affect your issue?

I have touched many program settings, and disabled etc and the problem continues.

hello displayfusion has a free version of 30 days you could try and make them have compatibility.

I am afraid we cannot troubleshoot another product - testing all of its possible settings - Jose.

If you have Windows Sandbox available to you (Windows 10 Pro), you can install each product under it to see what setting of yours, matching them one at a time, is causing the issue:

Just be mindful that if you close a Windows Sandbox session, it - and all that you did on it - is gone.

@sdRohan: Hello! I work for the company that makes DisplayFusion. The issue is definitely that we remove the buttons from the taskbar when the group of windows is moved to another monitor. When we move it back to the primary monitor, we add the buttons back, but understandably, Groupy no longer knows that they should be grouped.

Could we work together to implement a way that we can add the buttons back to the taskbar and notify Groupy that's been done, or something like that? We're open to suggestions :)

Even better would be if we could work together to support Groupy groups on the DisplayFusion taskbars as well, so that if a customer moves the group off the Primary monitor, the DisplayFusion taskbar can keep them grouped.

For anyone else that comes across this thread, there are two workarounds:

  • Set the Taskbar Mode on the DisplayFusion Settings > Taskbar tab to "Windows taskbar shows all windows, DisplayFusion shows relevant"
  • Disable the DisplayFusion multi-monitor taskbar and enable the built-in Windows 10 Multi-Monitor taskbar.

Thanks all!
