Questions about steam version

Hi,

I Have tried fences trial and liked it.
Can I now buy it through steam and migrate my settings? Can I import my desktop setup to the steam version?
 
Also, would I have to start steam with my computer?
I would like to buy via steam and have fences start at boot, but not have steam start at boot.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, sorry need to edit your post since I can't see white text on white background.

1. Yes, you can save your layout snapshot using this guide : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots

2. Make sure to uninstall non steam version from your system. Installed and activate the product while steam is active on your system. Once activated, steam no longer need to be active to use the product.
